1/80th scale photo plank

    I reckon they look great, so if your theory about them looking better in the flesh as it were, they must look amazing! :worship:.

    The trucks do look very good, nicely weathered. As for the Cooks River rail bridge, I have crossed that 1000's of times and your right, the water under there always looks slow moving and murky. Must be all the heavy metal contamination from many years of misuse ! Your bridge looks great and I like the fact that the check rails are much more weathered than the running rails.

    I eventually finished the plank by adding fascias made of thin MDF sheet, and a working porch light to the rice warehouse. It's a surface-mount LED powered by AA batteries. I took the plank along with me to the Narrow Gauge Convention at Erina in 2019, where it was well received. As a scenery test piece it's served it's purpose, so I'll start a new thread on it's replacement.
