    Good morning one and all,
I have in my possession a 7.25 Druid R/C ride on locomotive with a 4 seater carriage a riding truck and guards brake truck. With roughly 140ft of track plus 2 points. The track is portable so can attend events, eventually with a permanent track hopefully being laid at Mosely Railway and Toy Museum near Redruth in Cornwall. They also have a narrow railway 2ft gauge in operation, running Mondays Thursdays and Sunday's Inc Bank Holidays. Thought I would post this up as extra information.
    Regards,
    Gloria.

Thank you Gloria, yes I am much better. Having a new clutch fitted to my van made a huge difference to my knee, it is now much lighter and easier to operate (the clutch not my knee :)).

    Pete.

    Hi Pete,
Lovely to hear from you glad you are getting better and have had your clutch repaired. Luckily I don't have those sort of car problems anymore as I have a Nissan Leaf electric car. There is only one snag you can't tow with it but saves on road tac and fuel. My partner has a towing car so we use that to take our trailer to shows with our 16mm railway. As you may have read we are off to Exeter next week 26th October our last indoor event for this year.
    That should be good.
Anyway you take care and hopefully see you at one of the shows next year.
    My kindest regards,
    Gloria.

Good morning everyone hope everybody is keeping well. A further update on the progress of our 2 new builds, firstly the ground is being prepared for the 16mm narrow gauge railway at Moseley Toy and Train Museum in Redruth secondly the 7.25 railway work has also commenced with the loco shed being built. 2 photos included with this update the 2ft gauge track in the foreground will hopefully be lifted today Thursday ready for the 7.25 track to be laid in due course. Further updates to follow as work progresses.
Regards to you all and please stay safe.
    Gloria.

    Good morning Pete.
Thank you ever so much. Yes it is hard work at the moment as we want to show something for when we open. Hopefully not too long now. We have to rely on our volunteers to help us as with only 2 people it is hard work unfortunately my age is against me I was 79 last Sunday but still trying to my bit. Hope to meet you sometime Pete please take care
    Regards

    Good morning Gormo,
Thank you ever so much could do with a couple or even four of your lovely Maoris. Yes I agree it's hard work as I am not getting any younger I was 79 last Sunday but still trying to do my bit as we have to rely on our good natured volunteers to help out. It is difficult with 2 people especially our kind hearted owner who is not a well man. Just have to persevere and see what happens.
    Please stay safe.
    Regards.
    Gloria

A belated happy birthday Gloria. I know what you mean about having to take your time to stay safe. I was 66 a couple of weeks ago but at times feel 96! My wife and I are trying to sort out our garden as we cannot get out and about, I'm in the at risk group because of my diabetes but I also have mobility problems as I have told you previously, so I/we do a bit until we get tired and then take a break to get our breath back. We've been at it for around a week and are getting close to finishing the first stage, Karens patio for her sun lounger! :avatar: Next it's my new modelling shed!

    Cheers, Pete.
