As the fire has been completed (bar the hearth fender??? Made from old rail.) I added it to Fusion for some renders. by night At the same time it was realised we had not added the internal lights, which were something of a guess work with having no inside photos. Peter found one in another box that was simply a bare bulb! I opted for a quick fix that we can play around with using a modified version from the leek signal box. I have also been painting the printer model to move that forward. the “biscuit” colour cream is still needed to be added externally although the eau de nil and vellum is painted internally. Still needs black skirting and the black dado.
A little more paint progress. Awaiting pay day for some primer paint so I can do a bit more.. such as the roof. I may sand out that rib I put in to locate the roof as on this version it’s more trouble than it’s worth. And the roof cracked - I could do with the belt sander we had at school would be gone in 2 seconds. till next time. Andy
Version 2 for Peter is well under way, infact it’s it the spray booth tonight with the parts done so far. It’s actually looking much better than version 1 the fits are so much better but still had a small issue with one surface. Here is the new fire place… I even fitted a hole for a lamp for the fire… then realised I forgot to put a corresponding hole in the floor
Meanwhile, I’ve painted the frame on mine and a little more external painting. I’ve fettled the guttering so fits better, next to glue in place then see if I can make my roof fit a little better. The rib and slot seemed a good idea at the time to locate it, but took around an hour on Peter’s to get it to fit snug.
