Missed a question, whats the height of the lettering in inches, I can easily convert those into points.

On day shift so not home till aft 5.
May need all three. Thought I’d try and clean the panels, the white one was original paint work (as is the green) with the outer being newer paint (hence the shade difference) and I’ve smudged the black letters with meths. and it didn’t clean anything else most disappointingly.

I planed doing 2 copies of all 3, it will be the same cost as a single print as most companies print sheets of transfers on either A4 or A5

Last night I decided to bite the bullet.
Mark out and slide some transfers in place.

I’m pleased to say, it went quite well.

top row done. The card was used to align the tops of the letters. Although it looks like “line” is off at an angle, it’s an optical illusion and it’s actually straight.

    IMG_2354.jpeg And the lower panel.

it’s still to be varnished and sealed in, so that’s probably Fridays job.

To keep it safe it was fastened back in to the block.

I think that’s looking good! Once it’s varnished, I will start adding the needles and aches on the front and the new needle stops. And the magnets on the rear.

Nothing like pronging your neighbour off...that's why I park an old single decker bus in the yard :avatar: ... we also do Morris dance practice in the garden on warm evenings and the cherry on the cake in late Autumn is a nice big smokey bonfire steaming away all the weeds. Just putting natural nutrient back into the land. :avatar:

starting with the inside. The spindle z mounts and the latches.

Finger pointers secured to the spindles and the front arch bearing mounts and the new felt bump stops

    Andy,

That looks stunning, congratulations mate. Now if you were an NER man you would get criticised because all the screw slots aren't lined up. Tee Hee :hismiley:

I've tried as I also like to do that. However, it would leave some parts loose. I have a screw still to shorten on one of the felt pads.

I will try harder in future.. - the other art work has been test printed and will take home after work at 7am

We’re close. But not quite (I also think something is wrong with the colours, but not sure if my end or the printer at work! )
    IMG_2422.jpeg

Im going to see if I can narrow the black lines and loose the outside one.

    IMG_2423.jpeg

the text boxes also look small, but I may have to revert back to the original you sent and start again.

    keep you posted.

If your colours match those on the first transfers then it the printer at work, not your colouring. Can you check them out, but I have to say they look right from a distance.
Leaving aside the actual colours, the 3 sets of literals shouldn't have a black box around them, and should be the same colour as the background. Probably my fault for leaving the drawn line around them, do you want a revamped Fusion file with then removed.

I missed the bit about the black lines. The 3 radial black lines are .5mm wide they can easily be reduced if needed as can the outer black circle. Let me modify the Fusion file and send you a new one.

Looks like the yellow is missing, an ink tank problem or similar :scratchchin:

But why is the white odd?

    Jim :)

It’s a cream so probably as you say, missing yellow. A very good observation. ! (I had to use a different printer on another floor as ours wasn’t letting me sign in)
