For those with an Anycubic Photon Resin printer (or any other make that uses 405nm resin) Spotted the resin on Amazon for £44 for a litre and £23.99 for 500ml. Last ones I ordered were £66 for a litre and that was discounted. Paul
Yesterday being another Amazon Prime day, I thought I'd check for resin, and it was discounted by a few pounds a bottle, but before hitting buy it now, I thought I'd check with Anycubic's site. And came accross Anycubic Craftsman Resin. Currently selling for $30.99 per litre bottle Supposed to offer smoother prints with more detail, shorter cure times and lower shrinkage. If the pics are anything to go by the results look impressive. So I've put my money where my mouth is and stumped up for 3 bottles of the stuff in grey. and this worked out at $92.97 at the current exchange rate cost me £70.25 or £23.42 per bottle. I'll see how robust they are or whether this will be for the creation of masters for moulding. Paul

Hi Paul, I checked today and I can get the same Craftsman resin for $50AUD (1 litre bottle) here in Australia ($38 US). I will be interested in your results with it and may give it a go if you find it is as good as they say. I have been getting good results with NOVA3D water based resin (much easier cleanup and little odour). I have not had any cracking which some users have reported (or any other issues that I have noticed). It is a bit more expensive ($59AUD) but is reportedly less toxic. Have you tried water based resin? Chris
Hi Chris I'm currently working my way through 3L on Anycubic Eco resin, less viscous than the standard Anycubic Resin, possibly a little more brittle than the standard resin, but on the plus side, I'm using the same settings for both resins. Cleanup wise I prefer the standard resins, as the contaminated IPA is easier to dispose of than the contaminated water, as we cannot dispose of uncured resin down the drain. I'm hoping the Craftsman resin delivers on the hype. Paul
