I visited a toy and train fair today, to be honest I was looking for some cheap 00 track for a project I'm working on. Couldn't find any but I did come away with this.

Now I know its not O scale or british but for £9 I thought it worth a punt, marked as a non runner I thought it would probably be a simple fix, any way I cleaned the commutator put it on some track and away she went. I've no idea of make or model, I have been told it is a Canadian type but other than that its a mystery to me. I've no idea what I will do with it but hey ho.

It runs really well down to crawl, all wheel drive and pick up. It might make a nice 0 16.5 narrow gauge donor chassis.....

    Cheer's, Pete.

I've plenty of '00' gauge curved track Pete, no straights or points but if that's any help, you only have to ask.

Bargain Pete get a few old Triang railroad twin bogie wagons and you have a fun low cost switcher layout.

Thanks for the offer mate, what I'm hoping to do is remove the rails from the sleepers and use it to make a continuous checkrail for the infilled track on Wheeldon, so preferably metre lengths of rail. If necessary I will have a trip to Marcways and just buy some rail. I'm really tight and just want to save money :avatar:.

    Cheer's, Pete.
