    Hi All,

I have completed the following over the weekend

I only have one picture but I complete 1 MLK and MLV vans. Still needs painting but the AR Kits were relatively easy to complete.

I flushed glazed my Lima 44 Class Diesel - not a bad effort, for a first attempt. 2 windows with super glue prints. This is the best photo I could get of it.

    Nice Cameron

The 44 class is looking good
Are you going to paint the pilots silver or Black ?? I like the silver it was orignaly a western region thing but a lot of them ended up moving round the network there was also one or 2 with full red pilots as well. Have a look for some brake pipes to add as well they really enhance the look and aren't that expensive for a set.

The wagon ones are also just as good for locos these are curved so probaly a better choice

The AR Louver vans are nice kits and as you found a snap to put together.
I have one from the first test mouldings Rodeny did before the kits went into production, "to test the assembly".
I should get a set of decals, about all it needs to finish it off.
The only issue you may find with the kits is the stirrup steps at each end restrict the bogie movement may not be an issue on your layout as you have no tight curves.

    Thanks Chris

Re: vans. The stirrup steps do restrict movement but as there are minimal curves on my layout its not a problem.

Thanks for the tip on the paint scheme for the 44 and the hoses.
Any super detail kits that include wipers?

Wipers yes they would also add nicely to the loco. Brass ones would be good
