That a great demo of what can be achieved interesting to see how the computer managed to prevent long periods off stopping even when it stacked the trains in the top loops then seemed to switch the way it was routing the reverse loop running
Lots of work has obviously gone into getting detection and stop points set up right Great work
Nice video Peter
nice to see it all working
I’d like to do some automation for exhibitions on my new layout
So there is always something moving within the scene
Won’t be for the Rosehill show but after may look into what hardware I need to get started with basics train movements
It’s single line 3 loops out the front 2 in the fiddle yard that take 2 trains each so basics compared to your set up
Thanks for posting the video

Running trains has come along way in the last few years
The technology has just evolved so fast from stuff that was just dreams a few years ago is now reality.
It’s great to see the operation
A couple of questions
How many detection sections are in the railway now??
Next to achieve reliable ?? Reliable automation how involved was the Programing side of operations?
Do you have to give each train a set of parameters or is it totally random, where you select a loco and add it to the computers list of locos for automated running and it just adds it randomly into the session.
The mind is boggling on the possibility’s great work in getting it all working so well
Petesville Railway DCC Command and Loconet Modules used:-
**[The old layout used the NCE DCC PH-Pro 5 Amp [R] System ~ but proved not to work with the software. It was disposed of. Digitrax (Loconet) works 100% with the software "TrainController"].
The Digitrax Complete Train Control® system brings fun and realism to model railroading. Using the LocoNet Network and the many devices that work together on LocoNet.

Good question. I'll need to think about that one. may need a new section ....... leave it with me.
