Is that 26010 by any chance? Yes please Andy get in touch with the chap and tell him about Steve's latest project going on here... better still get the chap to join up since he is a loco owner. We need as many good quality close up pictures for the reference library as possible. In fact tell him I'll do a model of his Loco.

And at last you should have your kits today - Tom your's may arrive a bit later. I'll be asleep until lunchtime as I just got in off night shift. When I awke I'll announce news for 2019 and start the artwork for some 26/27 variations or spare parts etc. I'm sure there's a cock up somewhere. I'll also send over STL to Paul for Canopy and windows in case there's an issue with the castings as they did take a lot of cleaning up but I mated them so they should be ok.

And finally - well two threads up before I announced everything was completed . But here's the closing chapter of this book.

I rolled the cab's using the drivers desk as a pattern by holding them in the bending bars and pressing the sides around 2mm wire. I was pleased this worked really well. I may have miss-rolled one set, if I have that's how it's done.

Another pic show's the administration side. This list's the 3d printed parts and show's weight and time. This helps me in precurement and ensuring I don't put myself under pressure. There's one for Resin and white metal too. You can see it takes almost 5 hours to print one kit but I do other things in that time too like casting resin and white metal.

So now what? Well it's a case of reveiwing what I've done and updating or repairing where ever. What ideas worked, what didn't and what I should do differently next time. It never stops! The best tool I have is this forum with feedback and comments etc. and those who contribute must take a bow!:tophat:

So lets stick the lable on the lid and wrap it up. For me that's the finish - for a modeller it's a start.

    The End.
