G`day Folks and Welcome to Episode 18,

This week we are exploring an idea I`ve had kicking around in the old grey matter for a while now.

I decided it was time to try it and see what happens.

The idea is to use a nail / manicure brush with some home made additions to act as a ballast spreader.

The video takes you through the build of same and I have also included a PDF with the templates for the parts below.

This is not the ultimate solution to ballasting but simply another tool for your tool box to make the job a little easier.

    Enjoy the video

You're not by any chance a travelling brush salesman are you Gormo, judging by your recent projects? Or are you just 'bristling' with idea's?:avatar:

    G`day Keith,

No I`m not a brush salesman mate, however have you noticed that the brushes are gradually increasing in size.?????

Brushes are interesting and useful items and it`s quite easy to get swept along with ideas for various other uses for them.

As a matter of fact I`m thinking of diversifying into dusters next.????

Then it`s only upwards from there on......I am aspiring to develop a project for a yard broom......possibly to just pass on to Toto so he can clean out his shed???.....:avatar:

    G`day Folks,

Even though I`m daft as a brush Toto, I`m bristling with ideas old mate......don`t you worry about that, `cause I`ve got a handle on it....:giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle:. I`ll have to get out my notes and dust them off to see what comes next.

The broom will come with operator as an optional extra.....Costing will be forwarded on a need to know basis and will include airfares, airport taxes, transfer fees, accommodation, some meals and any additional costs. Rough estimates at this stage would see the broom coming in at AU$17.67 +GST ( VAT) and a conservative estimate for operator costs runs to about AU$ 4,927.35 + GST(VAT) which includes a personalized 3 week training course consisting of 15 one hour daily sessions ( I don`t work on weekends) and a free one page handbook and an unconditional 30 day warranty. I will absorb all costs for my lunches Toto because we will be using mates rates.

Thanks Sol......I hope there is no end ......well not yet anyway????...because it`s fun as well as stimulating!!!
