Folks, Here we go again with another of the Gormo`s adventures by rail. We were based in Aviermore, Scotland for two nights which gave us access not only to the Strathspey Steam Railway, but also to the Caingorms National Park, wherein lies the Cairngorms Mountain Railway. The railway is a funicular railway and takes folks from the lower car park, which is actually at a good altitude, up to the facility at the near top of the mountain, wherein we have cafe and shops and a viewing platform. The views from here are spectacular even on a grey day, but venturing outside to film the view was kept to a minimum because it was bloomin` freezing out there. Never been on it Gormo but I have skied down there. First time on a pair of skies. A moment of madness many years ago but that's another story. Great footage. Thanks for posting. Cheers Toto
