Fitting a 21 pin Lenz silver to a Dapol 08 shunter ( O gauge )

    squeeze the sides of the bonnet and pull up they say ......... that went easy enough, a little tight but it came and nothing broken. :thumbs:

    take the above DC chip out by prizing up from both sides a little at a time to avoid bending the pins.

    Geez, you got it easy installing a decoder into the 08. :whatever:

    I had a bu@@er of a time fitting sound into my Bachmann 08 ! I had to cut through the top of the bulkhead of the cab to be able to squeeze the decoder in, then cut out a portion of the lower bulkhead/floor to fit in the sugar cube speaker ! :headbanger: I did win in the end !

    You got room for a rather large speaker in there too... :D

    Wow finaly a manufacture that has made it easy to install a decoder and left plenty of space to install sound with a decent size speaker :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
