    This is a pic I took at the Shildon NRM in 2013, and could I heck as like find it on my hard drive, then today by chance, 'Bingo', there it was, so LMS fans, for your delectation......:giggle:

    Absolutely stunning the detail is iconic of the era. I once had the first issue Hornby model.

    Come to think of it, wouldn't a streamlined A4 look great in Malachite or Maunsell green.... :avatar::avatar:

    Yes they did Ian, nos. 6220 'Coronation', 6221 'Queen Elizabeth', 6222 'Queen Mary'. Some of the non streamlined locos were painted blue as well, such as 'Duchess Of Atholl' and 'Duchess Of Norfolk'.

    To be fair though, it seems there's a good spread of "Regional preferences" amongst the 'Mods".
