    Thanks Toto,
Despite picking it up partially built which wasn't ideal, I have enjoyed it and will add it to the list of locos that I plan to build for myself. - Mine will have a sprung chassis though.

Lovely looking loco, Rob. I'm considering a DJH Models SR "H" Class "Atlantic" loco, mostly brass and white metal, being a 4mm scale model, it'll probably be a fiddly build, but 'nothing ventured, nothing gained!"
    Keith.

    Hi Keith,
I have only built one 4mm DJH kit and the worst bit of it, was the very agricultural frames (two slabs of very thick brass with some holes drilled in them for the axles) - I had to resort to using a garden weed wand to solder them together (long before I had a microflame).

I will see if I can find any photos I must have some because I did a build thread on RMweb at the time.

Since you all seem to be picking up plenty of eBay bargains, I thought I would share my win tonight.

I have just picked up a new Gladiator B16/1 compete with Slaters wheels for £336 including special delivery postage. It's one of David Hill's recent releases since since he took over Gladiator. The Gladiator price for the kit on it's own is £355 indeed it was at £355 including the wheels when I put it on watch a couple of weeks ago which I thought was a bargain then but I couldn't afford it. When I mentioned to Chris tonight that it had been reduced further she offered to loan me the funds so I bit her hand off:avatar:

The other bit of good news on the sale is that I know the seller too, having sold him an L&Y Steam Railmotor when I was selling off my 4mm stuff a few years ago.

That's the plan, although I won't get it back from the painter he has promised me photos once he's finished it.
When I get to it, I will post the full build of the next one.

I had a bit of a blast from the past this morning when Paul Moore contacted me to say that he had ended up painting the B16-1 that I built back in 2017 and would I like some photos.

What a lovely job he has made of it. Photos copyright to Paul Moore and posted with his kind permission.

That looks superb Rob, given your acurately described as an 'expert builder' in the future I think I will have to address you as Sensei Pulham. :hismiley:
