I actually chose 30495 as the number for the G16 purely since it was a pic of that loco I found on the internet, which I downloaded for detail comparison purposes. I ordered the smokebox plate (at the same time as the G16's) for the forthcoming "Z" class as 30951 from the understandably limited range offered by 'Fox Transfers', who are my supplier of choice for transfers and plates. Pic of 30495 below.

I suspect I used the same photo to detail mine, Keith.

Just received the required bits to finish the G16 from Markits this morning, so got stuck in and completed things hopefully (unless I've missed something again, which is quite possible!), so here it is.

I did manage to fit driver and fireman in a position that helps to mask the lump of motor which would otherwise be very visible in the cab. I'll wait until after I've at least finished the forthcoming "Z" Class (not received from "Golden Arrow Models" yet!) before I think about a weathering session. Having said that, I've managed to accumulate three other chassis for more resin models, so there'll be more to do yet. Have to say I'm really enjoying building what might be called "Semi-RTR" models!
    Keith.

You've done a wonderful job on the G16 there, Keith.
