Hi Gormo, just looking at one of my threads from Sept 2025 and it is suffering from the same image problem as your Oz tour thread, so the problem is not confined to your thread it is wider spread, affecting a year old thread too.

    Jim :)

    OK thanks Jim,
I have contacted Paul a couple of times now but with no response yet.
He has a few plates in the air at one time so we will have to be patient.

Edit : I have removed the thread it was becoming annoying

Okay Gormo, pity, hopefully you can re-post it later, I wondered where it had got to, I was about to start posting again when I found my thread which I was going to add to was malfunctioning too, no point in posting more until the problem is fixed. Curious, Rob does not seem to have any problems, maybe it's just those of us with many long threads, anyway, seems that Paul needs to look at the server error logs to sort this out, meanwhile we will just have to be patient.

    Jim :)

    G`day Folks,
Some more railway related pics......Emerald Station in Qld.....located approx. 270kms west of Rockhampton on the Tropic of Capricorn.
As you can see, opened in 1900 and a very elegant building.

Gormo I show your pictures to my wife and she keeps saying it would be really nice to go back to Australia. I feel a long trip coming.

Now onto Archer Park in Rockhampton.

Archer Park Station was originally opened for rail traffic in December 1889
The heritage listed station is now owned and operated by Rockhampton Regional Council and has been run as a rail museum since 1999.
When the station was built, Rockhampton had two main railway stations....Stanley Street and Archer Park.
For a time Archer Park surpassed Stanley Street as the most utilized station.
Before most families had their own car, Archer Park provided the departure point for seaside excursions to Yeppoon and Emu Park.
As steam began to be replaced by diesel, the increased haulage capacity of diesel meant that trains could be longer, meaning that Archer Park Station platform was not long enough to accommodate the new longer trains and so Stanley Street became the main Rockhampton station.
Archer Park closed as a railway station in 1970.

Loco C17 988 ( Brown Bomber ) 4-8-0 in use from the 1920s to 1950s used to haul mail, passengers and goods.
I don`t like the colour scheme but there you are..???...somebody must like it ....:scratchchin:

I found the station interesting for a couple of reasons.
Firstly it has an overall roof design which is not that common in Australia

And secondly, the signal box is incorporated into the station building and projects out slightly into the platform for a good view of the platform.

    Waiting room well appointed

    Hey Gormo,
Nice to see all the full size 3D printed figures in you photos. :avatar: I've been trying for years to print good figures at HO scale and failed miserably.:headbanger:
I guess I need to go bigger ... much bigger.

    G`day Jim,
I have contacted Paul about this again and I still have no reply.
I fear there may be something wrong at his end because normally he would reply.
Anyway I have found a temporary fix for an unloaded picture.
Move your cursor onto the text description of the image and right click
A sub menu will appear with " reload image ' as the top option.
Click on " reload image " and the picture should appear.

Oh dear, I hope Paul has not had a complication following his recent health issue if he is not replying to a long time friend like you.

Can see them in your album, but in the thread, last two now present, previously viewed one disappeared, still one missing.

Well, I think we just have hope Paul is okay, our hobby must take second place.

    Best wishes Paul.

    Not to worry,
Apparently Paul has been spotted at Guildex at Stafford by Rob Pulham so all is good with Paul
We just need him onboard for some technical help now.

    Well folks,
I will be off the scene for a while as I am tackling the painting of the exterior of my home.
It`s an old weatherboard joint sadly in need of a refresh and ,this paint job most likely ,will be the last time I paint it.
A couple of years back we had an intense hail storm from the south and it damaged the paint on that side of the house which in turn has gradually let the weather in behind it and it has started to peel....so that`s where I have started and it`s coming along quite nicely although slowly.
I have not given myself a deadline instead choosing to tackle it bit by bit and make a good job of it.
I usually look in on the forum with my morning coffee and remove any unwanted visitors so I will continue to do that and keep up to speed with the forum news.
    Anyway.......as Arnie says....." I`ll be back "
