    More 'attractive prices' are all very well, but personally I'd prefer to pay a bit more and get a kit that goes together well, doesn't need any 'modifications' to strengthen manufacturers 'cut-corners', and looks the part. I don't mind adding cost on top if it's preferable to add detail in the form of lost wax parts etc, but thats a personal choice.

    My thought as well Keith... I know the budget kits I wouldn't buy into.

    So with the cylinders correcyly centred, the problem shifts to clearance behind them for the front crank pin..!

    With the cylinders fitted, i inserted a brass rod through the centre holes, looking at the isinglass drawing the line should be through the middle of the middle axle, and it is..!

    The slide bars need a lot of work to make up into a correct representation for a k4, its fighting me again..
