Looks like a plan Ian

Now what's this Secret thing I won't tell anyone :avatar:

The floating shelf is a really good idea once you finished building you can mount to on the wall with the supplied brackets :tophat:

Hi Kim I bought some very small brass picture hangers €1.25 for 10) and removed the triangle shaped steel 'hangers'... I'll fasten the remaining brass hinge shaped pieces down and thread wire through them ... then disguise the handles as I've done on my main plonk St Michael.

Here we go again... a changed layout... plan... scheme... it always happens.... anyway after much thought and tinto I have decided to suspend the build of St Michael for the present time due to space restrictions in our apartment and heat issues in the layout room (roof terrace). This doesn't cause me angst as all the structures with the exception of the platform are complete as is the baseboard. My other 4/8ths and I are looking for a solution constantly but as we are renting drilling holes is not desirable... Anyway to compensate for this I intend to use my Scalescene/Townstreet build as a more manageable plonk. So the first board will be the comp plonk and the second board will be the add on.
Below I the revised track plan for both ... fox ... hammer ... wasp ...etc

Nice plan Ian I'm guessing the plank with the coal drop is the competition one or board 1, you could build 2 entry's in the competition  I like the Quay idea.

Nice plan Ian, and I like the way you can extend the module. I may need to think about this approach... :scratchchin:

    Cheers, Gary.

Cheets Gary most things turn out for the better and the shelves are cheap enough at €12 (about £10) and I can hopefully cut down into it for the drop and quay. I'll overlay with the cork/corrugated cardboard combo.
