Ok so here we are under starters orders ... bit disappointed that goats are excluded ... but I'll leave that to Toto's conscience. I've decided to build/construct the 'coal office/weighbridge (is coal allowed in the staithes?) steered clear of the cryptic clues as I generally get into trouble with my other 5/8ths for misreading them.

Ian, varnishing with vino tinto is not allowed, it might intoxicate and influence the judging panel.

Well the day of action has arrived the forecast in Nerja today is rain so... I'm gonna start on my first ever Scalescenes build (coal office/weighbridge and staithes). Interestingly the last build on my 'plonk' is ditto (Tcut) so I might do a step by step comparison thread. We've got till the end of May (plus an extra hour summer time). As this is the competition thread I'll put the dual build in my workbench (I doubt it will be good enough for a tutorial) ... what do you think Toto

Not much of a photo but today was all about tidying up my tool box. However I have managed to glue the sheets onto their respective card thicknesses and build the side walls.

Congrats - the first to stick paper to card, the race is on :avatar:

Step by step is great Ian, as any difficulties / tips / mistakes any of us come accross, we can pass amongst everyone for all of us to benefit
