    I'm in Japan at the moment, using a rail pass. Yesterday we caught the splendidly named Thunderbird limited express, through the mountains to Kyoto.
    Trying to post this from an ipad, so I'm not confident that it will work.

    I think "son of" can join up with its brothers and sisters to form longer trains - hence the doors, or the mechanic is up front - you never know what these cunning fellows are up to next.

    Whole familes of them in a line Paul. We were in about car 6 in the Thunderbirds are go limited express.
