Thanks all hi Paul no I bought the coal sacks but can't remember the make however I did have to cut them in half (I too used to work on a coal round and in winter was the worst job I ever had) and the ones supplied were too long! Ian
Very creative use of the free downloads Ian Coming together very nicely how are the wagons getting up to the top an embankment behind the office or dose this need to go in after the compertition due to the 6scale feet rule I know a way around the rule it involves creative use of some parts from the free down loads but I think it is possible to push the boundary a little and still be within the rules
Hi Chris eventually the road will ramp up after the weighbridge and a wall will curve round from the r/h side of the drop back to the weighbridge forming the other side of the ramp lorries would need to reverse down for coal, weighing empty on the way in and loaded going back out. Steps up to the top platform will also be at the r/h side of the coal drop end wall. Hope that is kinda clear... eventually I hope to build it into my Townstreet plonk but gonna need strong tinto for that. Ian
Should have mentioned the top of the coal drop will be at normal track surface level so the bottom of the drop will be like a sunken pit thingy
Thanks Sparky... may need you to explain it back to me sometime as the mind gets confused without tinto

A couple of detail shots but... I invoke the 3' ... 3 tinto rule ... the metal span is ex weighbridge whilst the back fence is ex coal staithe and obviously the drop is ex inspection pit... Attached files
