Those of you who follow the facebook page will know I've had a few new things arrive - a second J39 that suffered some damage enroute - a large piece of brass bar the original builder had fitted during construction to add weight to the model dislodged itself, and punched through the smokebox door. It would have had to come out, but I can think of gentler ways of doing it!. I've ordered new numbers for both it, and my EC black 5, so finishing those is my project for over my upcoming holidays.

I've also been eyeing this little beauty off on Ellis Clarke for quite some time, and with SWMBO's permission Its become my early birthday pressie. Listed as a J21, I realised the drivers seemed a little small, and, measuring to them at 32mm, have concluded its actually a J25, meaning I now have a guide for my half built O7 one!
Made mostly of Nickel Silver, its fitted with a rather large, 2 stage Bueller type motor and gearbox, (I may swap it out for something smaller), it features working valvegear and motion, posable reverser, and opening smokebox door and looks like a nice little project to commence after rebuilding my next J39
Not sure what number I'll give her yet, I know Northallerton shedded a few, but will look at depots from Selby, Leeds York and Darlington as well
