Hi Pete Just wondering where you got the loads from ?, as I am starting to populate the Parcels depot, and your loads look good. Paul
Paul, the loads on the goods dock were made from a Knightwing accessories kit, dead easy to assemble, there are packing cases, steel drums, sacks etc, I cut a piece of plastic card to the size of a wagon interior and loaded it with stuff, I left it loose so it could be removed once the wagon had been shunted to the dock, one of my pet hates is seeing full wagons going in and coming out still full, the yard doesn,t have a coal yard but if it had I would make coal loads removable, I know the hand of God is frowned upon but thats just how I like to do it. Hi Tom, yes the crew van is a Leyland FG, they are a particular favourite of mine as I used to own an Austin FG K60 beavertail lorry until a few years ago, coincidently I know of 2 more less than 1 mile from where I live! Thank you Ianvolvo, unfortunately its taken a back seat lately as I have been doing more work on my O gauge models. Cheers, Pete.

I notice the glassworks chimneys are visible in thepicture, they're long gone now as the land is the home of a large Tesco and the footie ground. Doesn't seem that long ago that I was pedalling along the canal bank on my way to school with the scrapyard on the other side of the towpath. My school (Tapton House) was the home for his final 5 years, of the railway pioneer George Stephenson as he was overseeing the construction of the Midland railway, and the creation of several collieries around the Clay Cross area. One of these days, I'll get around to taking a few pics of the house for posting up together with a few details, just for interests sake. Keith.
Well Lockoford has gone to a new home, I sold it today to a chap who came and collected it in a lovely old Morris Traveller, a bit of a squeeze but it went in, he also paid what I was asking, should have asked more , any way the O gauge pot is looking healthy now so roll on Warley . Cheers, Pete.
Well done Pete, I'm sure it'll be sorry to see it go but if it's funding another, that's a bonus. I'm sure the new owner will be delighted with it. Cheers Toto
Jakesdad - I'll be at Warley helping a mate run his American layout, Tilley Yard South - be sure to pop over and say hi!
You should have signed the new owner up to the forum. Mind and post up the shinnies when you get back. Cheers Toto
I was telling Paulo9999 about my inglenook layout, I've just been looking back at it, I really regret selling it now. It was the only layout I have built that was more or less finished . Pete.
