Hi I thought I'd post up some shots of Townstreet Models new Loco maintenance shed complete with lifting gantry.
I'll take this opportunity to admit that I never built or painted this model. There is a story behind its new home ( my shed ) which will be covered on the forum probably later today as it is one of lifes ( few ) goos luck stories.
Anyway, on with the post and the pictures,
1st up is a general front elevation shot of the shed. Windows ( brass masters ) are still to be added and you may note one of the chimneys missing. They will both be dealt with soon.
[IMG] The model above has been built on the plywood base but can ( and will ) be removed in order to relocate the shed on one of my own layouts ( Probably Breadalbane ).
the next up is a shot of the side with open window apertures. these will be fitted out with Brass Masters etched windows once painted by myself.

next up a side rear shot showing the rear exit door.

and next is the other side showing a solid brick wall. You can see the missing roof vent space.

next up, another view of the front.

and one of the inside showing the gantry with lifting frame.

As you can see the roof comes off for easy access and potential future detailing and lights etc.
The above is just a quick whistle stop tour but I will be back at some point with one of my own builds from the Townstreet range.I have just purchased two, two lane modern image loco sheds which are new to the range and will do the job on Breadalbane.
I will probably post up a picture or two of these kits in their RAW form, ie, bare casts awaiting building and painting. Apparently, they can be built in 15 minutes. There are not too many cast parts to assemble. More on these later.
    cheers
