Went out to the shed today to look out my painting and weathering stuff and its all over the place. So ...... I went shopping for something that would let me keep everything ..... paint, powders, brushes, air brushes, solvents, masks, masking materials. mixing jars, etc in the one place rather than in different boxes all over the shop and came up with this. Ladies and Gentlemen ........... I give you ......... Boaby ........... Boaby is a tool chest storage unit thingy. The top surface slides outwards to give you storage ...... respirator, bottles of solvents and the larger items. and there are two thin drawers that are ideal for paint tinlets, droppers, brushes, and flatter materials etc. Boaby ....... being very athletic and nimble on his wheels. Unfortunately, boaby can't be given his legs at the moment as one of the wheel threads is crossed and the nyloc nut wont fit on properly. So the shop has been contacted and they have a spare which will be exchanged over tomorrow morning. You will notice however that there is also a nice big tray on the bottom that will take my air compressor and other large items. I wouldn't exert Boaby too much with heavy weight as it is a bit flimsy. he is good enough for what I will store on him but I wouldn't rate him for someone who has many great heavy tools ........ like a mechanic or similar. He's fine for hobby use. Boaby should be fully up and running by tomorrow morning. cheers toto
Boaby the Bench great idea for having everything all in one place. I think you will find Boaby becomes quite stiff and more agile on the sprint from the shed to the house once he's and his wheels are united😎 I had one very similar in a comercial automotive workshop for the boys as a service cart it wasn't treated well and needed new casters once in a while as they wore due to the mileage but the frame it self seemed to stand up well
That's all very well and good, but does it fit in the car for when you're away from home...?? Now, I want to see a weathered piece of rollingstock ! Cheers, Gary.
Gary, I think it would be quicker putting the plastic wagon outside in the rain and waiting for it to rust, than waiting for Toto to power up that airbrush, or break the seals on the bottles of washes. Toto just in case your wondering, on the Humbrol wash bottles, you need to push down on the lid and rotate anti-clockwise (the lid not you). Like Kimbo points out were waiting to see some battle damage Paul
I like how Toto leaves the instruction sheet in plain view , is this to make us all think he actually read it Man-up Toto, wrapping and instruction, first thing in the bin
Both wrong, after his comments regarding SWMBO and coffee making, he was told if he want's a coffee making he can stick it where the sun don't shine. As this is Scotland, and the sun doesn't shine very often, Toto is trying different locations for the instructions to see which one gets a coffee. Paul
