New South Wales Government Railways Coaching Stock Books

I recently purchased three books about the Coaching Sock of the NSWGR.

The first book I purchased was 'Coaching Stock of the NSW Railways Vol. 2'.
This book isn't cheap at $110.00 (new), but the info inside is priceless.
This book has a tonne of information about the coaching stock, whether that be the American style sleeping and suburban cars right through to the Indian Pacific cars.

I purchased this edition as it contains the relevant information about the RUB cars. This will allow me to super detail a few coaches I'm going to build for my NMRA Achievement Program, on my route to Master Model Railroader.

The second book I purchased is 'Coaching Stock of the NSW Railways Vol. 1'.
This book was a bargain as I picked it up second hand at the ARHS Bookstore for $60.00.
This book details various cars from the Rigid wheelbase cars, Early bogie cars, Corridor cars, Prison vans, Suburban cars and brake vans.

The third book is 'Modelling The Pullman Type Carriages of the NSWR', another book picked up second hand for $10.00, RRP is $35.00 !

From the early clerestory cars to cars that were converted to Dentakl Cars, it details all the items on these cars from the roof to the undercarriage. Full of useful drawings and excellent descriptions, right up to painting and numbering/lettering the cars.

Looking forward to delving into these books more in good time.
