Using the Lenz LR101 feedback modules and LB101 occupancy detectors, I'm feeling really dumb in trying to understand what address to use for subsequent LR101s. style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"The first LR101 (with it's 4 LB101s connected) is factory set at address 65 and I'm all good with that and it's all working as expected. style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"Now for the second LR101 and it's set of 4 LB101s. What address do I program into this 2nd LR101 .. is it 66 or (65+8) or something else ? I've read and read the manual many times, Googled, thought deeply - but still failing to understand. So in this fog of senility I thought I'd ask first before risking blue smoke.

I'm not familiar with Lenz but I'm sure there will be Lenz users out there who will chime in.

Your first LR101 is address 65, and the 4 dual-port LB101s have port numbers 1-8, so their full addresses are 65/1, 65/2 etc.

Your second LR101 can therefore be addressed as 66, and its port numbers will be 66/1, 66/2 etc.

An alternative to the LR101/LB101s is the LDT RS8 which has all 5 units in a single board and is half the price of the Lenz modules. I have a number of these and they work very well.

Thanks all for your replies, and Robert especially - ah HA the answer thanks. Hmm I've never heard of LDT - I'm committed to the Lenz components I've bought already - but for future expansion LDT's website is now in my favs.
