'O' Gauge

    My build so far. ( 7 meter long X 600 mm ) build in Garage, still plenty room for chariot !!!
    Dexion legs with 30 x 30 wood attached and 6mm rubber feet [​IMG]

    Frame work[​IMG]

    20mm board screwed on[​IMG]

    3mm MDF back boards, painted both sides prevent warp/twisting ( good Idea Chris) Beading at top to help brackets support 400mm wide shelf for lights to fit under

    Boards also ready to lay 5/6mm hardish foam.[​IMG]

    Looking very sturdy indeed. Dexion is very useful, and strong. I picked up a stack once from a council clean up and now it supports the old slot car set in the garage, much the same as you have done.

    Looking forward to the continuation of your thread. Have you decided on a track plan yet ??
