:hismiley:This laser-cut Kit from Prosers, I built the pallets from the spruces plus a few matchsticks[IMG]

The wood effect on reels and pallets was by quickly and lightly touching with a very hot soldering Iron
[IMG]Strapping 1mm strips of painted self adhesive labels

[IMG]The chain was purchased separately, So with some patience these are the finished items.Just noticed one edge of strappings come adrift soon fix that. :avatar:

Excellent models Ralph. I do like these laser cut kits, very realistic.

I guess York Modelmaking would have quite a few different wagon load kits available ??

    Cheers, Gary.

They look great Ralf, I saw an article years ago in MRJ, on making them from plasticard, they didn,t look as good as these.

    Great work Ralph
Like the idea of the iron to give some extra character to the timber

Mig do a nice aged wood weathering wash that also makes the timber grain pop
