Certainly resembles 'Spar dashing'. I have a bag of the same stuff bought a few years ago for model railway use, unfortunately I can't recall what I used it for on my 00 gauge layout before I moved onto 0 gauge.:hammer:

Running session yesterday, I've converted the Flo tubes to LED and it is far brighter and whiter with 4000K lights.
Quick snap of a class 37 appearing from the cutting. The bus is a lucky find - it's an Alexander M type in Western Scotish colours and even has a Glasgow destination board, this is the exact type of coach I used to get from Glasgow to Great Yarmouth as a child.

The church trying out its spot in the village.

    Looks good.
But, why do those words translate in my mind to the church waddling over like a duck and making itself comfy :avatar::facepalm:

    Very effective Andy,
The layout is moving towards being a landscape that has trains running through it, which I think is rather nice....

    Thanks, that is the intention.
At this point (2 sides of the layout) the layout is 3 feet wide. Reaching the corners is a nightmare.

New arrival at Overtoun, a Bachmann class 101 2 car DMU, on the left. Far better detail and runner than the Hornby (Ex-Lima) 3 car unit on the right.

Bachmann produce some excellent models, unlike that Class 101 of Hornby, which 30 plus years later they were still using the old Lima tooling...

I bet there is a story behind the positioning of the church next to the pub. One like, "Honey, I'm just heading off to church for a few hours, I won't be long..." :avatar::avatar:

    Cheers, Gary.

    Signal work in progress today...
Mis-calculation on my part, it doesn't fit beyond the platform!

I think you're working faster than me, although that's not difficult :avatar:

Very slow progress on the depot and fuel point but it is progress.
Was at our local show (March, Cambridgeshire) on Saturday and couldn't resist the Heljan tank wagons...£92 for the four but they are so detailed.

The tank cars do look good. Any chance of a close up pic of one of them showing all the detail ?

    Cheers, Gary.
