Been working away installing point motors and wiring, managed a bit more on the farm scene and picked up a couple of coaches from a swapmeet yesterday.

    Snap, these are both Lima.

Got to change the wheels on them as they are like Pizza cutters on my code 75 track!

Most of my locos and rolling stock are older models, so I have to run code 100 track.

I have a couple of 1970's Hornby locos and they are fine on code 75.

Been modifying this laser cut kit, hopefully improving it.
When finished it will be my station building.

Almost finished now, it will have to wait to be weathered and have chimney pots added.

The gable end was a common site growing up near Glasgow in the 1970's & 80's where parts of buildings had been knocked down and typically the fireplaces survived usually accompanied by some gairish wallpaper so I tried to recreate this with a bricked up fireplace and plastered wall.

My current build, a Wills granite small goods shed. Picking out the different colour stones was a task!

Well that was a long break!
My Mother passed away a couple of months ago and all my hobbies took a back seat.
    Anyway i'm back at it.
I've been working on this corner of the layout, because it is quite deep I need to get the back finish before I can do anything at the front as I have to kneel on the baseboard to reach the far corner.

The foreground track is still to be weathered...

Been doing bits and pieces on the layout but today was a running in session for my newly aquired (Christmas) Bachmann class 20.
It is pulling 2 new Bachmann MK2 brake ends which are close coupled.

I also aquired this lovely Bachmann GUV in BR maroon.

Nice Chrissy presents !:thumbs::thumbs: Those two Mk2 Brake Opens look fantastic with the close coupling, rather than the scale 7' leap from coach to coach !

    Cheers, Gary.
