We all seem to do it .. start yet another project before we've finished the previous one .. so .. this one will be revealed in due time .. but as a taster .. Attached files
Careful Ian - if the other 5/8ths finds out you picking up "singles" you may be deeper in the dog house than Toto
paul_l wrote: It will be worse when SWMBO find out that the 'Single' is named 'Dean'.... Sounds like the new project will involve something in the era of the late 1890's through to early 1900s... Hmm, lets see, early GWR locos and rolling stock, horse drawn carts, lots of early sandstone and brick architecture... Sounds to me there may be a lot of kit building to be done... Cheers, Gary.
......don't forget a Victorian Goat.... looks to me like a "place-mat" layout which will make a change from a file box
Actually it could be the longest plonk I've built and definitely the most tinto consumed .. maybe .. probably .. we'll see ... these are testing times .. ian vt
Ooo, A Dean Single and five clerestories on a trestle viaduct maybe. That would be enough to drive many to drink. Jim
I reckon he`s going to put a capacitor discharge unit inside the tender to act as a stay alive mechanism or even a speed booster......... http://www.clickGormo
Did'nt expect that ....! .. 'Rack & Ruin the project' is no more .. i'll explain .. apparently the 'Ruin' bars evolved in Bucharest at the rear of ruined shops ... (I could be wrong on that).. and here in Nerja we have a bar called Rack & Ruin run by 3 ladies one of whom is from Bucharest. The bar here is quite unique in its style of decor with even an old bike hanging from the ceiling (the first Ruin bar was in an old bike shop) and we got talking about running a model train above the bar. I had the track 12' the train Triang Dean single with celestery coaches and I had an electrnonicary thingmajig shuttle whatsit .. simplesss. However just yesterday the council electricty inspector visited for a full check and informed them that if they fitted the train they would have to pay for another full inspection ... end of project ..oh well if would have been fun.
