Looking good Ron. I'd guessing that the back scene is at least 250mm high (10") ??

Here is a link to the grain silos (elevator) that I built :

Nice and bright Ron. It'll also bring the layout together a bit more as well. A nice big expanse of colour. Coming along nicely.

Just curious, that's all. I purchased the Walthers pack of 12 for approx $11.00 US ($14.00 AU), whereas the Peco ones are a tad more expensive at $4.60 (AU) for two....

    Cheers, Gary.

    Hi Ron,
looks very neat. Maybe some diagonal bracing on the end section would just give it that extra rigidity.
    neat work as always.
    cheers toto

The diagonal brace is not necessarily needed. If the top bolts where it fits the baseboard are quite rigid and there are two screws on each leg of the lower cross piece of timber, there will be very little movement.

    Cheers, Gary.

There are 2 screws on each leg of the cross brace and the top bolts can be done up tightly, I've planned to do the same the other end and a trestle type support for the middle joint area. :)
Did some more graffiti on a couple of boxcars as well!

Looks great Ron, nice work. You must slowly be collecting some US rolling stock now...
