Rush City yard has been resurrected at work. it was in storage and I was worried it might get damp! I set it up in a spare room, plugged the Digitrax controller in and away went the switcher first time.. Got some cleaning up to do and a couple of little jobs but very pleased it's survived OK! Cheers Ron
Yes Gary, testing it out yesterday. All OK except one point which seems dead so I'll investigate that next week..
Nice. It's always fun to pull out the old layout and have a run (test) ! I have had one point do the same thing on Jay Dub North Yard... I'm thinking of replacing it instead as the locos tend to stall on it all the time. Cheers, Gary.
R Rush City yard is now set up in my shed and completed. Regular running and switching! A pedestrian walkway has been added too..
Almost, retired from dental business but deliver bread 3 mornings a week for a local bakery. Good little job except I get up at 4am!!
Aw-shucks Ron, the chaps here have been missing you ! Of course though, we still chat on Facebook !! Great to see you back posting on the pages here, it's been a while ! Cheers, Gary.
Getting up at 4am??? That's not 'retirement' Ron, that's punishment. The only 4 o'clock in my day is in the afternoon when I sit down for a coffee! As a now deceased mate of mine used to say, "If I felt that energetic, I'd lie down 'til the feeling went off!" Cheers, Keith.
Rush City yard is going British! Got 3F and getting some wagons and a few building changes! I'll keep you in the loop!! Ron
New scratch built goods shed, still needs some work doing to it. It's replacing the Rush City corn storage silo's as I move towards a British goods yard. Ron
