It's still a work in progress Tom, got to do a bit more and sort out the DCC connections to make it reliable!
No worries Ron. I'll look forward to seeing it once you've got your head around it. I'm sure the wait will be worth it. Cheers Toto
The two track pins are nice, but different to the ones I get down under... Are you sure that the ballast wagon is yours ? Seems to have Ed's name on it ! Great sound on the 24. Cheers, Gary.
Not sure what you mean about the track pins Gary??The wagon is not Ed's it's defo mine! ha ha!Off to a local train 'fair'this morning for a look round! CheersRon
Your track pins, one track pin is grey with four wheels, the other blood n' custard with 8 wheels... Cheers, Gary.
Went to a local Train/Toy meet this morning, not really needing anything but bought a cheap sand wagon, But fell victim to a bargain Class 59, just needs a decoder!! I also have revised my fiddle yard layout, having already got 3 Peco loco-lifts I've decided to just lay sidings and use the loco lifts. CheersRon
Looks like some bargains Ron I do like the 59 Sheds. You will need a quarry and a stone train That space at the end of the layout could become a quarry
Thanks Chris! I have now added a description of the layout on the opening page of this thread. Cheers Ron
Hi Ron, The 59 looks in good nick and a nice image of it as well. You have certainly left your running potential wide open with the preservation status on the layout and the inclusion of a loco works could give loads of pose able scope for your rolling stock. Are you going to model the actual loco works. That would be fantastic. Cheers Toto
I'll do a copy Tom, I took loads of photo's last year whilst getting a guided tour of the shed/works. When I've finished the trackwork I want to sort the platforms out first!! Cheers Ron
Good stuff. The platform should be an easyish fix for you hopefully. Shame about the damage but considering the move its been through you maybe got off lightly. I'll look forward to watching it all develop again.
Gary wrote: That building is a new build addition to the old building, the signal box was originally on the platform but was moved to its current position when the level crossing was re-instated giving access to the network rail Sherighanm station allowing visiting locos to come via Cromer on network rail tracks. The foot crossing and the footbridge that the photo was taken from are all new additions as well, they were just being finished off when I visited in June/July.
Got the rest of my boxes unpacked tonight, not sure where I'm going to put everything!!Photo's of the station area, shed area and the Sheringham like run round..
