Hi, Bruce the camera ia a small Canon IXUS, very versatile and being small it means I can place it tight locations. A very hany camera! Ed, most of the layout was already built last year, I have just adapted it to it's new home! The Jack Daniels will soon be replenished but it is not my source of speed! http://www.clickMy method is to plan my time in the shed but do some operating as well to keep the interest high!! CheersRon
I had a Panasonic before this, great camera! Spent this evening adding crews to 3 of my loco's' including this 4F.. Another short video...
Hi Kim, it's the Hornby 4F TTS model, I think they are getting better all the time! The HornbyTTS decoders go on sale separatly later this year (June I think?) at only £36 !! Cheers Ron
Two additions to the shed today, a bar stool (to match the optic!) and the shelves. I need to put some track on the shelves to use the peco loco lifts for loco storage. Short video of 08 shunting..
Hi Gary, it's one of Paul Chetter's using a Zimo decoder. It was an early attempt at using a separate braking system.. I bought the Bachman 08 from Digitrains last year, if you forget to press 2 even after closing the throttle it keeps on slowly moving until 2 is pressed to apply the brakes! CheersRon
Thought I had heard the sound before. That would be the Zimo MX648R sound decoder, loaded with Paul Chetter sound profile ZS08A. Did you find locating the decoder and speaker awkward ? This is what I had to do to my Bachmann 08 to make it all fit : Nasty, eh ?? Cheers, Gary.
No problems Gary, it was already fitted and was a shop demo model that I talked them into selling me!!http://www.click
mmmmm that TTS 4F decoder may find its way into a refurbed Lima O gauge 4F, gives me a few months more procrastination Great video's Ron
