    This may sound weird but the process of texture detailing is no different than what an artist might do in capturing the essence of a photoreal landscape painting. Truly amazing stuff you have got going there Steve and some great tips about how to attain realism. :tophat::tophat::tophat:

    I’ve got a laser cut brick lined pit on order for in front of the coaling stage which will provide a nice contrast.

    A lovely little detail for any shed

    The track and ground cover weathering is supreme Steve, it certainly pays thinking outside the box by using specialist techniques and materials such as the talc dusting method and of course hand built track wins on "super real" detailing ( I like that term super real because it implies breaking the boundaries of whats regular) :avatar: every time. Panniers are growing on me too but not top of my must get list right now but you never know a Minerva one could well be an impulse buy at some stage. Anyway your shed scene is superb as I always say.:tophat::thumbs:

    Hello Steve. I have finally caught up on your layout thread and I must say your attention to detail and weathering of the trackwork and building is brilliant. I like pannier tanks myself a real soft spot for them.
