Afternoon Steve I have just caught up on your layouts and diorama threads. You are producing some lovely layout work and etched kit building.
The scenery and weathering is nicely done.:tophat:

Thank you a proper tree. Most of those available ready made are about 12 ft. I shall go hunting in the woods.

6AAF0928-16E6-44AE-8B4E-9CBE4418D88D.jpeg Once the foliage is in and they are bunched up it should give a nice thick canopy, I’m guessing I'm going to need about 20 or so this height

I've been looking at dried parsley for foliage on my trees, I used foam/sawdust scatter on them before but it didn't look right and eventually it fell off. I've also looked at dried oregano as that looks more like autumn leaves though I reckon pasta and pizza would be favorite grub afterwards :avatar:

    Cheers, Pete.

My favourite one so far a 1/3 dead tree
I’ve used lots of clear spray varnish to stick the foliage on, I will leave them a while and give them a few more coats of a Matt varnish from a spray and hopefully that will hold. 65D17DCA-4367-4C26-8AB8-DA14354BC639.jpeg BA5AE118-7EAC-42ED-A1D4-26A3A2B78F89.jpeg

    • The GM Model scene trees have doubled, with another 6 on order. Fantastic value at around £6 a piece, Not up to the same standard as MBR but definitely worth the money.
