This is a diorama I am planning and it’s simply called Stranded. The diorama board is 24cms x 11cms. The theme is based on a loco or passenger wagon stranded on a stretch of track. The track I will be now using is Peco code 75 bullhead.
Nice start Mark... puddle alongside the track says there must be blocked up drainage somewhere looking forward to seeing this scene develop.
Gives a whole new look when you remove the webbing and change the spacing... can I ask why? (Industrial ?)
Hi Andy I like the look of narrow gauge railway tracks with larger spacing, so I thought I would apply it to my OO gauge track for this diorama build.
It did cross my mind on looking at the extended sleeper spacing that a narrow gauge scene is planned.
Thanks Ian for the nice comments, some more scenery build up work has been completed this evening. Hopefully ready to paint tomorrow.
A change to my diorama is in progress and I hope to have some pictures uploaded onto the forum in due course.
Hi there has been a slight change to my diorama, I am replacing the track and will be using Peco code 75 bullhead track. More to follow...
Hi Gary once I have rectified the work on my diorama I will post some pictures, waiting for the bullhead track to arrive tomorrow.
No worries. From the comments from other members above, I thought I couldn't see the images for one reason or another ! Cheers, Gary.
Looking very neat and compact little scenes Bo-Bo, they are certainly full of character in their own right and I bet they would sell as gifts to model enthusiasts. Just a thought.
Hi and thanks to everyone for the pushing the likes button and also for the nice comments Yorkie I have sold a couple of my dioramas to help some charities, every little helps. At the moment I am building a Wills yard crane to add to my diorama..
