Cheers Ian. lots of pictures from today’s efforts, Paul has done a cracking Paint job on the stairs, which will now be individually cut done to fit each platform end. He plans to start painting the inside to tone down the clean whiteness of the model. We discussed how the side platforms will be fitted to the walls for easy removal and how to finish off hiding the wiring from the gantry lighting. From photos we have plans now to detail under the platforms and add piping, electrical conduit and switches to the pillars, plus drains, oil, ........ .... ...the list goes on. Very pleased with the progress today, a really nice photographic (and working) layout coming along nicely......just need those UK orders to land soon to be able to finish the front and rear elevations.......... so I hope you don’t mind me adding a photo video of today’s efforts which I think are starting to capture the flavour of the original shed.
Cheers Ralph I’m glad your a part of this project along with the brains behind the outfitthanks for today really enjoyed what was achieved
Paul needed a refuelling point for the TMD, so out with the plasticard and a few hours work...here posed on LSD. Should be fitted on Pauls later today...
Amazing work. The fuelling point is terrific. Loved the video. Very atmospheric and captures the essence of what everyone would want in a MPD. The work is flawless. A great treat to view. Toto
So today’s efforts included installing one of many signs that Ralph has created on his pc, you’ll see more of these as and when Paul manages to cut them out and add some poles. Great work Ralph Paul has manages to complete the rear panel of the shed which I will now carefully cut out the openings and shape the roof line. Along with the re fuelling point I’ve also managed to make 10 lights for the TMD, so we decided to get them all wired up and check them out with an added running session.....as we all do . here are a few photos...it’s definitely getting there Paul .
Big thank you to both Ralph for the signs & Kim for everything that’s been achieved today to replicate a modern TMD
It’s a pleasure Paul, I’m glad your pleased with the progress Today’s running session to test out the lighting effects.
What a great video, and brilliant workmanship all round Kim and Paul, I am pleased in a small way to be involved with your Stratford TMD layout Paul.
