The Scalescene 2022 diorama build ( nr 1 ).

OK .... spurred on by Vinylelpea's recent Scalscenes store build ..... I'm thinking that we have not had a Scalescenes competition in a while ..... a long while.

So .... this co petition is all about taking one or more of the Scalescenes " free downloads " and creating a diorama out of it.

This competition is open to OO scale and N gauge modellers only and the moderators can not enter this competition.

The commencement date is now and the closing date is the end of June ....... Sunday the 26th June to be precise after which the winners of which there shall be 3 will be announced by a poll vote 1 week later kn the following Sunday.

The prizes up for grabs are £25.00 of Scalescenes vouchers for 1st prize, £15.00 of vouchers for 2nd and £10.00 of vouchers for 3rd prize. I will advise John Wiffen of Scalescenes who the winners are and a code will be provided by email for the lucky winners.

The scope of the competition is quite wide. Obviously the underlying theme is railways ut apart from that ....... any type, era, location etc ...... you can use other accessories / parts to embellish your entry ..... figures, vehicles, scenics, locos wagons etc and you can also use any pajnting and weathering techniques with which to take your work that stage further..... so a free hand I'd say. Proprietary " ready to use accessories and materials " are allowed

When members are casting their votes for this ..... they should try and consider the quality of the build, the originality and flexibility of how the " free downloads "' elements have been used as well as how well they fit into the overall. Theme a d tie in with accessories used.

The usual, regular updates and posting is required and it must be all your own work.
