    G`day Folks,
This railway is a preserved part of the old GWR branchline system based at Ashburton. They have a number of steam and diesel locomotives there all run and maintained by the local staff.
The following photographs were taken by Ray Wilson.
Ray is a long time subscriber on my YouTube channel and he is always offering good practical advice to me, based on anything new he finds on his internet travels. He is also an extremely good photographer and a railway modeller and enthusiast and he has a vast array of photos on his web site / blog.
Ray let me know some time ago that he was going for a visit to the South Devon Railway and in turn he offered to send me some pictures of same for my reference library. Well all that has come about and in addition he has allowed me to share them on this forum.
" Feel free to use them for yourself or your club website."
So hats off :tophat:to Ray and thanks for allowing us to use your pics on the forum.
    Cheers
    Gormo

Some fabulous photos Gormo, they took me back 20+ years to when I visited there but the changes since then are massive!

    Pete.

    I`m sure they will Toto,
It`s nice to have such clear detail of the items that go together to make up a station scene from years past.
Ray is a handy man with a camera...

They are absolutely cracking photos. Loving stuff like the old cigarette machine, it's the kind of detail you would like to add to a station platform but wouldn't know where to begin finding a prototype. Beautiful. Thank you Gormo, and thank you Ray!

    Cheers,

    Dom
