    Yes it`s getting there Phil,
Bit by bit, as you add new elements, they will blend and blur the lines between model and back scene and all will become one to the viewer.

Just read your whole thread. This is coming along just fine. I like your use of the guards van, excellent idea and it makes for a great gate house !:thumbs::thumbs:

Diving in and having a go is the only way to truly test your skills. Nothing is ever a failure as we all learn along the way and that is a benefit to our learning and skills. ;)

Keep up the good work and I'll be following along.

    Cheers, Gary.

Had a go at the sea wall and footpath. Made the sea wall out of modelling clay, and the footpath with individual squares of balsa wood. Not too happy with the colour , so will have to revisit at some stage. Not much progress other projects keep getting in the way. 20220322_161632.jpg

20220317_082442.jpg I'm going to call this the finished article, and entry to the competition. Car parks and road Markings made with self adhesive paper labels and dulled down with 6b pencil. Weeds I used some dried peat moss. The stream roller and traction engine, are placed as a tribute to my dad.
