Story goes .... the Flying Scotsman was travelling nicely along (honest I was not speeding) with 8 carriage train in tow before dropping a pin on the side gear. Gear went down, lodged in the sleepers, Flying Scotsman became a "flying" Scotsman and pole vaulted on its own side gear. Result is damaged side gear, ripped out cylinder on that side. Looking to purchase Graham Farish A3 non runner to scavenge for parts. Thanks Andrew
I thinks thats now called "being "Toto'd" ... sorry Andrew know the feeling old Triangs used to do similar, good luck with your search. Ian vt

They kindly acted on my request and I sent the loco to them it got returned in all working order plus a new body for the Pullman. It maybe worth contacting them to see if they can oblige you with your request.Good luck,GWRGirl.
