    Some fantastic footage here. As I commute in and out of Waterloo daily its nice to see it during steam days. Particularly as I am just a bit to young to remember them, born in 64.

    This is great. I went to Waterloo a couple of years back for the 1st time since the Class 50's where withdrawn its changed a lot since then. I wish I was old enough to remember steam... I find the southern fascinating despite being from Lincolnshire

    A fortnights holiday in Margate around 1959 when I spent most of the time on Margate and Ramsgate station platforms had me hooked, a confirmed 'Spamcan fan'.:giggle:
