Linton and a warm to the forum from Dundee Great to have you on board, and look forward to hearing about yourself and your modelling adventures so far. Once again welcome to the forum Paul
Thank you all for the very friendly welcome. My current project is nearing its completion……. If a layout is ever finished…..I’ll maybe get to upload a few pics. I’m also in the process of building a rake of GWR Toplight in 4mm, along with a few smaller jobs. Again a few pics might help to show their progress
We love builds in progress, especially with pics, there always new ways of seeing how things get done. Paul
God morning all, and apologies for my tardiness in posting a response. My main interests are the GWR, due to my father who worked for the great company in the 40's at Warminster station. I Model in 4mm, and my present project is a GWR branch terminus, called Lintor Town. The layout was created to be able to transport around and hopefully exhibit occasionally..... so if there are any Exhibition managers out there...... It's fully DCC, with all but 2 loco's sound fitted. It's based on a fictitious town somewhere in the west country, during the late 20's early 30's, although I do have an option to change the era to late 30's to give a bit of flexibility in running different Liveries and Loco's. I'll try and get a few pictures up to show you all some of the scenery, but to start with a couple of pictures of some models in various states of completion. These will be the Toplight coach rake for Lintor. A. slip coach is still to be started to complete the train.
As promised pictures of my Toplight Coaches in various states of completion. More to follow when I get them done
Hi Lintor, The coaches look excellent, can I suggest that you edit the post and click on the add full image button then all will be able to see them much easier in context with the text.
