What decoder is generally being used for Dapols O Gauge Terrier and is it 8 or 21 pin ?

My terrier did not have instructions with it to inform me. Makes me wonder if it was in fact new. I was lead to believe it was.

    Cheers

    Hi Toto

21 pin, if you're intending to fit sound in the future, then I suggest a gaugemaster DCC27, its both a 21 & 8 pin decoder in the one box.

I may have to rob one from another loco for the time being. I've not been too organised with regards to decoders for the O Gauge fleet.
    anyway, 21 pin. That's great.

    Cheers
