This will be the next steam kit for the stash, I finally sent the cheque off to Scorpio last Friday so pictures when it arrives... goodness only knows when this one will get built but hey-ho who cares it will all add to the stash.:avatar: I quite like the Caprotti Standard 5, but then I quite like the 9F but I really don't know what the kit budget will be next year after the Class 26 and 27 new kit releases.

Looking forward to seeing it York Paul. If it's any good ........ Another tank may hit my own growing list. Some of the versions that I have don't look the best.

The better kits will populate my engine shed / turntable module when that finally kicks off.

Oh I'm pretty sure this kit will go together all right, true it has its origins with Jim Harris but like the Standard 4 tender loco its had all its annoying and tricky Harrisisms reworked. I'll let you know what I think when it arrives. As far as your shall we say the "lesser" quality kits go you could always sell them on the Bay.

All a bit too modern for my own modelling tastes but you never know what will pass across the workbench for other people.

Indeed Rob and as I can reliably inform you're the man for the job because the more you build for him the more he can then buy. :avatar::avatar::avatar:

I see Jazz has hit the same problem I did with his Class 3 2-6-0 build in that Scorpio haven't sent him all the necessary castings. I'm fairly confident he will receive them when Mr Ennis next goes into town as they closed the local estate post office and he finds it too much of a trek more than once a week.

I've just bought a brand new unused set of wheels for the Scorpio Class 3 tank kit ... made by Slater's and still in their packets for 80 notes, a bit of a bargain me thinks.

Indeed indeed of course I will as I always do ... now I've already explained to Mr Ennis that you will be looking to place a very large order with his good self.:avatar: Seriously Toto the Seven Models etches (Britannia, Clan, DofG) are excellent, in fact I was able to put the Brit frames together and get then balanced correctly without a chassis jig. The Transport age etches (as per BR Class 3 2-6-2 tank in a flat pack) for my BR Standard Class 4 are also crisp it is the tender etches marked up Acorn from Jim Harris which you have to be on the ball with thinking several steps in advance before soldering and trimming with snips.
