Today the Clayton Class 17 kit which I bought from Steve Beattie came today, no need to give a breakdown of the components as Toto has done this on one of his earlier threads last year., suffice to say at first glance it looks a very good kit with etch bogie sides that need to be laminated together for thickness. So this one is on the back burner for a while as the assembly line is choker block right now :avatar:. Anyway looking at my ancient spotters book from 1970 apparently I bagged 8512/45/58/98 and one unidentified one at Derby RCD which I presume was 8521. So an initial thought is to do this loco as one of the RCD units in Rail Blue along with a Mark 1 BSK as Laboratory 12, this could be something that I enter in a Show at some stage. remember you heard it here first.:thumbup:

A little twist from the norm then with laminated components this time.

Only a cursory glance at the etches tells me so, I really wanted to study the CDrom of the build but SWMBO has just decreed we are off to the pub for a meal now. So that means no battery box build tonight and reading the destructions will also have to wait til later this evening.
