Gormo, thanks very much to you and your wonderful video. You have captured the show very well. This was a wonderful exhibition and a credit to those that organised it. The venue is superb and exactly what it needed. Thanks also to Gary and SMRChris for their wonderful layouts and advice. Regards Steve
Great to have such positive feedback. I sure the guys will appreciate it. It makes all the effort so much more worthwhile. A very successful show.
I totally agree with all the great comments regarding the exhibition held at Rosehill Gardens. The Epping boys put on a stunning show that blew all other exhibitions I have attended into oblivion. A special HUGE thank you goes out to David Dalzell (ddalzell) for making this venture into the unknown a huge success. David, if you are reading this, well done mate ! A big 'thank you' goes out to all the members that came along and helped us have a great 3 days of running, speaking to the public and answering the many questions. You all know who you are. Thank you. So on to a few more pics from my lens, well phone camera... A different angle of Murray Bridge. Goulburn. Daveoetype's C30T on Tomlins Creek. Wyee. IDR Models (Manufacturers display layout). Coffs Harbour Model Railway Club. More to follow...
...and we keep going... Tulong. Twenty Three. Sorry guys, but I can't remember the name of this very busy layout... Roydon. Group shot of P1MRC members. Apologies to Chris for not being in this pic, we couldn't find you !! There we have it folks, all the pics I have taken. Tomorrow I'll get some video up ! Cheers, Gary.
Great images Gary. Puts a different slant on the many previous. Edit ....... just caught the group shot. . Great work guys.
Magic video guys, really enjoyed it, some inspirational stuff. Love the way many of the layouts have full canopy back drops, they certainly set the scene. Good to see Garry in his native environment . Regards Col
Some of the layouts at the Adelaide, South Australia Exhibition just finished, can take up to 3 hours to set up.
Here is the video I promised of some of the great layouts... It's just over 15 minutes in duration. I have used a miniature drone to capture some of the action ! Cheers, Gary.
"Some of the layouts at the Adelaide, South Australia Exhibition just finished, can take up to 3 hours to set up." Must make it an incredibly long day Ron. Nice Video Gary, the N gauge layout at the end looks comparatively small Ed
Thanks Ed. The N scale layout at the end is approximately 20' long from one end to the other, maybe longer. The platforms would be approximately 4'6"' long, the truss bridge about 2'6" long ! Cheers, Gary.
I'd be really happy if I had a 20' (or more) long space at home Now where did I put that lottery ticket Ed
Why don't you send a breeding pair of haggis's Toto? there will be plenty for you then next year. Pete.
Awesome photos and videos, it looked like a great show. Its nice to see some different layouts for a change, here in the uk layouts tend to go show to show so you are likely to see the same ones time after time. That is one good thing about O gauge layouts, show managers only invite the odd one or two, so there is a good chance to see a new one. Pete.
This exhibition has well and truly been covered...!!!!.....Wow !!!! Thanks for the all the extra pics and video footage Gary .......super !!! Gormo
